viagemWell folks, we are starting 2016 with a major restructuring of our physical space (read renovation). We had an excellent year and we were able to learn a lot from you, our customers and friends. But the time has come to put things in place and get to work.

As you well know, the pre-sale of the Baby ox, Conclave's first release in 2016. Now we are waiting for the CV, or in Latin, "Curriculum vitae“. This amazing game has already left Poland and, if all goes well, the pre-sale will open in mid-March.

We still don't know for sure your final price, everything will depend on the value of taxes, fees and other charges that vary according to the time of customs clearance.

colecboardLast year in Germany, the original publisher of the CV (Granna) released three exclusive promo cards for those who bought the game at the Essen fair. The letters were exclusive to the fair and only those who were there would have access to them. But in the Brazilian edition of the game this will be different… because these cards are already included! The Brazilian edition has, in addition to the base cards of the game, we will also have the following cards: Boardgame Collection, Trip to the Games Fair in Essen and boardgame designer.

While the CV is not enough, what we can do is kill a little bit of the desire to know the game by reading some reviews and watching some gameplays. And this week Radio Review, on Board Game Geek, published the #93 issue, which brings a complete review of the CV.

boarddesHere's a small snippet of the review:

“Designed by Filip Milunski (Vampire Empire, Magnum Sal), the CV game works to give the player the life experience of a character from his childhood to the golden years. Players will roll a set of dice in Yahtzee-style mechanics, and will use the final roll to draw cards from the track located on the board. Cards are revealed in stages on the path, starting with adulthood, then middle age, and finally old age cards. These cards will be divided into categories, including the character's knowledge, relationships, health, profession, possessions, and events. Most cards contain bonuses that can be used on future dice rolls. There are countless possibilities to earn Victory Points, such as accumulating some goods, completing life goals and building the most impressive CV through your knowledge, your health and your relationships.”

And we don't stop there. The long-awaited Robinson Crusoe is in the final stages and in production. The beautiful components are already ready and there is very little left for the game to be available. We know it's no excuse, but the delay in its release was due to a number of reasons, and the main one was you! In the next post we reveal the mystery about Robinson's delay… J

Anyway, great releases await you at Conclave this beginning of the year and soon we will bring you more information about Robinson Crusoe, Merchants & Marauders and about our long-awaited national production, Rock'N Roll Mananger!
