It's been a while since we decided to visit as many gaming events as possible in Brazil. Our goal is to get to know the events, know how the public relates to them, see what is being played, support the organization and, of course, present our games to the public at the events. We've driven countless kilometers, in different places and it's always a pleasant feeling to see many people interested in this fantastic hobby that is analog games.

Last Saturday, 03/11/2017, we were at the The Meeple, in Niteroi. We were very well received by the organizers Leandro Nunes and Gabriel Calderon and we soon felt at home. The organization allocated some exclusive tables for the Conclave, which turned out to be insufficient, due to the demand for our games, and in a short time we were spread throughout the event. 🙂

THE The Meeple happens monthly in Niterói. The event takes place in a restaurant hall, which allows participants to eat with quality food throughout the event. The area is excellent, accommodating more than 100 people in comfort. All tables have the event's own tablecloths, with its logo and colors, which gives an even more organized air. In fact, it's not just air, but the event is very well organized. There are monitors to teach the games to the public and those responsible are constantly receiving the staff and pointing them to the game tables. In other words, no one is left helpless or displaced. And the games go on non-stop!

And so it was with our games. At the event, we were demonstrating upcoming games (Room 25, barony and Ultimate Warriorz) and those that are now going into production (animal about animal and GetBit). We were surprised, because our tables didn't stop and people asked for more, besides these 4 Gods, Jórvík and Dead Man's Draw also saw a lot of table throughout the day. But what surprised us most was Ultimate Warriorz! The combat game in a fantastic arena did not stop for a second. There was a line to play and there were huge groups with a very excited crowd. We saw 2-player matches (one of them almost got divorced) and 8-player matches. All with the crowd focused, dice shaking in their hands and blood in their eyes!

Room 25 and barony did not stay behind. People were enchanted by the simplicity, beauty and high strategic capacity of barony. One group started a new game as soon as the first one ended, as the players realized the strategic mistakes they made through inexperience. At the Room 25, people started playing the basics, cooperative, and soon they were in a new game, with expansion and, of course, suspects!

Anyway, it was a day of many games, a lot of fun and in which we were, once again, proud to be in this universe. Our next stop will be at ABRIN, in São Paulo and then in the UAI Board Games, in Belo Horizonte. Keep an eye out, we have many kilometers to go!
