As you may already know, Conclave started in the gaming world with RPGs. We go through different systems and create our own universes, as Vikings: Midgard and Twilight. But a game that was always inside our hearts was Vampire: The Mask. In addition to being a landmark of innovation when it was launched, it brought an extremely complete and intricate universe. So much so that it gave rise to board games, cardgames, video games and even a TV series in the 90s.
Ever
Richard Garfield, designer of Magic: The Gathering and several other games, once said in an interview that his masterpiece of game design was this game. Vampire: The Eternal Struggle, or VtES, is a collectible, multiplayer cardgame (play up to 5 players) in the universe of Vampire: The Mask. In fact, the game has a legion of fans all over the world and, after a hiatus in production, caused by problems with the trademark rights, it returned through the English publisher Black Chantry.
In the game, each player is a very ancient vampire known as Methuselah. The Methuselahs, considered legends by many, control everything from the shadows, influencing other vampires in their networks in political, social, and physical conflicts. Each Methuselah uses their vampires, their locations, their equipment, and their influence to try to have complete dominance over their foes. Extremely immersive, VtES brings all the intrigue, depth and darkness of the Vampire universe to the gaming table.
Today we are starting the pre-sale of five starter decks for Brazilian players: Lost Kindred, Keepers of Tradition 1 and Keepers of Tradition 2 and Heirs to the Blood 1 and Heirs to the Blood 2. Each deck brings the complete set for you to face other players with their decks.
In this initial phase, which we are affectionately calling Scoming from torpor (experts will understand), we will have decks in English, in even smaller quantities and for sale only in our virtual store. The idea is to wake up the Vampires to this new era of VtES in Brazil and keep the Eternal Struggle alive!
And, of course, we do not intend to stop at VtES…
Welcome back to the shade!
