Last Thursday we made a post on our social networks indicating that we would be bringing to Brazil the new edition of the multi-awarded game, Kemet! Of course, the post exploded and we had several people contacting us to find out about it. So, we prepared this post to let you know all the information about the arrival of Kemet: Blood & Sand to Brazil!

But before we go any further, let's give some details about the arrival of the Dungeon.
We had announced that Dungeon would come through crowdfunding, but in fact it will come through direct sale. This is good, because you can buy yours directly from your favorite retailer, taking advantage of lower shipping and possible promotions.
Pre-sale starts in the first half of July. In addition to the base game we will also have the adventures kit (Adventurer's Kit), the monsters kit (Monster Kit) and the crossover kit (Arcadia Quest Conversion Kit). We will also have some other exclusive items in very small quantities. More details coming soon!

Kemet: Blood & Sand – Brazilian Campaign

The new edition of Kemet is being launched internationally through crowdfunding very successful at the kickstarter. In this way, the game managed to accumulate a large amount of extended goals, greatly expanding the amount of components and possibilities in each game.

Here in Brazil, we will do the same. Our goal is to bring Brazilian players a complete experience, with ALL what will come out abroad. See how it will work.

• At the end of this month (June), probably next week, we will start our crowdfunding campaign for Catharsis.
• in the link https://www.conclaveweb.com.br/kemetbrasil you will have access to the campaign (for an hour it leads to a landing page for you to register and receive information about the campaign – including advance information).
• we will have ALL what's in the current campaign kickstarter. I.e, all goals to be unlocked, all addons and all expansions.
• Our campaign will be a mirror of the international campaign, however, obviously, with values adapted to the Brazilian reality.
• The game will come to Brazil already localized to Brazilian Portuguese, without the costs of taxes and fees and without the high shipping cost of international financing (see below).
• The only reward we won't have in our campaign is the old Kemet Upgrade Kit for the new one. This is due to a few factors:
  • The old Kemet was published in Brazil by another publisher and we cannot guarantee compatibility;
  • Kemet: Blood and Sand's box is bigger than the old game's box and the volume of components is also bigger… We believe that fitting all the components into the old box can be a problem;
  • Matagot is not providing this material to international partners, as even on Kickstarter the demand for it was low (less than 10% of the total support);
  • All of the game's art and iconography has been renewed. Therefore, to have the game really new, the ideal is to have it completely. New game, new life!

Common questions

• Why crowdfunding and why support? Crowdfunding is the only way we can bring in all the add-ons and all the extended goals. We want to bring a more complete game to Brazil. Therefore, everyone's support is very important for us to release all goals. Also, on financing the game price will be lower than the price after financing.
• I am a Kickstarter supporter, how do I proceed? Our advice is that you cancel your support there on Kickstarter and participate in Brazilian funding. Thus, in addition to increasing the Brazilian financing numbers, you do not have unnecessary expenses with shipping, fees and taxes (see below – Shipping). We are asking Matagot for a list of Brazilian supporters so that we can make direct contact with you.
• Will you have it for the shopkeeper after the financing? Yes, but prices will differ and will not include all extras.
• And the Freight? This is an aspect very important. As you can see on the game's Kickstarter, the shipping charged by Matagot is 62€, almost the price of the game. This amount, associated with taxes and customs fees, will make the final value of the game purchased on Kickstarter MUCH higher (we estimate it will triple).
  In Brazilian financing, shipping will only be internal, without fees and taxes, and will be charged after the campaign, when sending the game. In addition, we will study some pick-up points in various locations, so that the freight is close to zero. In other words, the final price of the Brazilian game will be much lower than the imported one.
