In The Witcher: Old World you become a wizard, a professional monster hunter, and immerse yourself in the legendary universe of The Witcher franchise.

The Ancient World, years before the saga of Geralt of Rivia, is full of difficult choices, and dangers that lurk around every corner. The game takes players to a realm filled with arcane magic infested with monsters, dark secrets and dangerous places to discover. Bloodthirsty monsters that appeared on the Continent after the Conjunction of the Spheres indicate that you should not embark on this risky journey without a sword in hand.

Five schools of wizards were created. They train their followers under a brutal regime, and once fully prepared, these unrecognizable wizards set out to explore the lands looking for trouble, adventure, and helping others in exchange for coin.

The Witcher: Old World follows 1 to 5 players traveling across a vast map, embarking on masterfully crafted quests, encountering and making morally ambiguous choices, fighting monsters – and sometimes fighting other wizards to defend the honor of their school!

The game allows players to build their own unique decks of cards by choosing from a wide variety of abilities: attacks, dodges, and wizard magical combat – known as Signs. Through synergy between cards, players aim to achieve powerful combos as they utilize the inherent abilities of their wizarding school to their maximum potential.
