The game takes players to a realm filled with arcane magic infested with monsters, dark secrets and dangerous places to discover. Five schools of wizards were created. They train their followers under a brutal regime, and once fully prepared, these unrecognizable wizards set out to explore the lands looking for trouble, adventure, and helping others in exchange for coin.

The Witcher: Old World follows 1 to 5 players traveling across a vast map, embarking on masterfully crafted quests, encountering and making morally ambiguous choices, fighting monsters – and sometimes fighting other wizards to defend the honor of their school!

The game allows players to build their own unique decks of cards by choosing from a wide variety of abilities: attacks, dodges, and wizard magical combat – known as Signs.
